Nasaru Naturals grows spirulina in ponds fed by Rift Valley lake water at Shompole Conservancy, on land held in partnership with the local Maasai community. Spirulina is one of the most climate-efficient proteins available and demand for clean-label superfoods is accelerating globally. We sell dried spirulina powder, and are expanding into phycocyanin (a natural blue colorant) and spirulina-based fish feed, with a go-to-market spanning Kenya, the UAE/Qatar, South Africa, the UK, and Germany. Growth for us means both high margin food production and Maasai community income.
